The location is great, walking distance from the Zhengzhou main station and close to numerous shopping streets.
The hotel is ok, but rooms are rather small without a minibar (at least my room). The staff is friendly but their ability to speak english is often limited.
Overall Zhengzhou is not that attractive but as the capital of Henan it allows to easily visit, via the chinese fast train, very interesting chinese places such as Luoyang, Shaoling, Kaifeng and Anyang. I've been able to visit these places in a week time (without organized tour).
Convenient for someone who wants a base camp and does not intend to remain in the room for the whole stay.

“An excellent hotel”
A great location next to a major pedestrian shopping mall adjacent to the Erqi Memorial Tower in central Zhengzhou. Outstanding friendly service - I wish that all hotel stays could be as enjoyable as this. The revolving restaurant on level 28, where we had breakfast daily and dinner one evening, has great views over Zhengzhou. The only negative was that the soundproofing between the rooms could be better.
