i have a few reasons choosing this resort, since
my flight arrive at midnight, and will move to another resort at Luhuitou area, location was my big concern, also, i only stay for less than half day, budget was my concern as well.
having a GROUPON like deal from a chinese travel website, i spent about $500rmb a night.
also, this resort name, in chinese cities, "state guesthouse" tells it's usually state-own and usually held for some government officials, so i believed in the quality.
when i arrive, it was a very hot and humid night, a little disappoint at the lobby design, no ceiliing fan at all. then i was lead by a friendly staff to my room, surprisingly, the resort was huge, it took me like a 5 min walk, i remember my room was at tower C. On the way, the staff explained about the details of the hotel and attraction nearby. and learnt some background about Sanya, since i'm a first timer.

Here is the part i started to like this resort, get in my room , the size was way bigger than i thought. Bedding and shower facilities were keeping new still.
surrounding was quiet, i did have a wonderful sleep.
next morning, had breakfast in the restaurant near lobby ( my room rate incl ) , the choices were standard and not fancy though. Then browse everywhere in the resort, found, the pool was big and clean and the resort was not crowded at all , i guess there were only around 10 guests in this resort.

Since it's state-own background, I hope this resort could survive in this low occupcy rate.
one last thought, if you want to have a budget plan with quiet moments, there you go.

P.S. this is the first english review, but not sure english communication is whether smooth at this place or not.

Little drawback , why the air con is install in the balcony, i can't enjoy outdoor in my room at all.
