Cold and rainy outside, so the pool and the beach are of no use. This hotel is almost empty and is located on a man-made island connected to the main city. Two others across the way appear almost empty too. Unless you are with a bunch of friends, a tour group or have a car, you will find it inconveninent. Can walk to some overpriced seafood restaurants, but it's a long hike (30 minutes plus) to get to the city center and it isn't easy to find a bus or taxi. Nothing wrong with the hotel itself, and staff are pleasant enough and my seaview room was huge (but barren.) Breakfast is OK, but nothing special. Had a foot massage one evening at the Spa; it was fine but cost twice what it should. (68 RMB for one hour.)
