I usually fly into hong kong. u can arrange to take a van/bus to the crown prince at the HK airport but its way more faster to call ahead to the hotel and have them send a car for you. its about a 2.5 hr drive from hk airport.

the hotel is clean, safe and just a swell place. all the rooms have shower and seperate tub with tv. the rooms have tv,dvd and first class ammenities.

the best is the breakfeast buffets. WOW. asian and western meals, salad bar, fruits, dairies, omlettes while u wait, etc. usually included for free with the room.

evening bufftet isnt as good and is about 25-30 US dollars.

driving range is just down the street, 5 min walk.

This is a modern, hotel with excellent facilities. It's located in an Industrial City - so no reason to visit except on business. The Rooms are large, clean & comfortable, with a big bathtub & separate shower. DVD player & a few discs are provided in case you don't like the TV channels. The breakfast is superb - with Western & Chinese options both readily available. The staff were helpful & polite, and made a good attempt at speaking English (much better than my Chinese). I paid £30/night (including breakfast & internet access) - which takes some beating.

Donggaun being an industrial area does not have a very large selection of good international standard hotels. The Crown Prince Hotel is a very good choice when visiting this area. The hotel lobby is beautiful. The rooms large, clean, and in good condition. The beds are very comfortable - unlike the typical very hard beds in China. The food is good. The service very good. The room was less than $100 USD per night which is a good value. Not much around the hotel and I’m not sure I would recommend exploring the area alone at night.

From the moment you arrive, you can see its 5 star. Unbelieveable value for 30euro/night b&b (for two adults). All rooms are delux, with remote control for blinds, lights, tv etc. Internet is perfect and fast, even in the lobby. Lobby, toilet is a must visit, will not give away the surprise in the gents ! Food very good and western based. Service has improved alot and you may have a bit of trouble if you do not speak the language but there is always someone around to help with menu. Outdoor pool was cold as weather not great and shrimp fishing was closed. At the end of the day, the price is too good to miss. Food is expensive but you can eat out in Changping town for about 15euro (for 6 people) so this makes up for the hotel food. Hotel staff always friendly. Remember when you change money, the notes must be perfect otherwise they will reject. Insist and ask manager if problem, this will solve this. Also, the room rates are negotiable, like everything in China........enjoy !
