Lanzhou has not much to offer in term of tourism. We are here as part out itinerary covering the cities of the ancient Silk Road. The hotel looks doggy from outside as you have to maneuver thru an old building to get to the reception. But once you are inside, its like a hiden gem. The room has been nicely renovated, its clean,spotless bathroom and has everything you need for a good night sleep. The only drawback is the street noise but we were not bothered at all. The location is perfect, just next to the famous night market where you can have all kind foods under the sun. It is also close to the pedestrain mall and with shopping outlets surrounded the hotel. You can walk to the Yellow river enjoying a drink by the riverside at night while overlloking thr beautiful scenery at night. The best of all is the professionalism of the hotel manager who are there always ready to help and even offer to walk us to get some good food .
Home Inn has been emerging quite fast in China with outlets in most of the major cities and with the service level that I have encountered, it is not difficult to know why there are doing very well . Thanks for the experience.
