The dorm in this place is just super, so spacious!
great communal area, Tv, sofas and a large kitchen, onlt 3 blocks from the centre of town. Cheap with fast wifi.

very relaxing atmosphere, but service was a little dull and the price was a bit high for a dorm. Kurt is quite nice though, when he's around that is.

It is located in Arica centre and for it was a good option since I could easily reach restaurants, shops and ATMs. The hostel is roomy and with Internet. it will be probably look better since in April there were "works in progress".

I stayed in the Surf House in November 2009 for 3 nights. Me and my mom had a double room with TV just in the corridor of the hostel.
The hostel was friendly place to meet other travelesr from around the world.
I did like the whole atmosphere in there. I enjoyed playing table tennins with Kurt, surfing on internet, cooking, eating, drinking wine. It was all good. I should have booked a surfing lesson with Kurt: ( that's my little regret) oh well- the next time. Also "Kurt- we didn't finish our game of ping pong- it's 1:1:)"
