My girlfriends and I are all praises for Monsoon B&B. Jerry and Thina are very warm hosts. Jerry woke up very early every morning to see us off. And they recommended the best restaurants around Siem Reap. I definitely recommend this place. Why stay in a hotel when you can be in a homey place like Monsoon. Check out their website ---. My partner and I stayed at Monsoon Bed and Breakfast in Siem Reap for five days in January 2006. This was by far the most rewarding bed and breakfast stay we have ever experienced during our many years of travels. The hosts, Thina and Jerry, are longtime Cambodia residents, fluent in Khmer, and very knowledgeable about local sights, history, culture etc. Their attention to detail is evident in the stylish decor of the residence, the high level of professional service, and the outstanding five-course Cambodian meal that is served nightly, upon request. Drivers, guides and tours to the Angkor temples are easily arranged. I would highly recommend Monsoon to anyone who wishes to experience a first-rate homestay experience while in Siem Reap.
