“The service is wonderful.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

The staffs are really friendly and helpful. The service is wonderful. I feel free and comfortable from the moment when we meet the driver at the siem reap airport. Providing cold drinks when we get on the car, introducing the scenes and culture in details on the way to the hotel, the driver makes us get acquainted with Combodia soon. Moreover, the staffs will do their best to satisfy your need as soon as possible. The service can be qualified as 5-star level. Originally, I booked 4 nights to stay at the hotel. But something bad happened suddenly on my family and I need to check out after one night stay. Thankfully, the staffs do so much to help us for leaving in a hurry. It takes around 10 mins from hotel to down town, but don't worry, the drivers will standby at all times. Sojourn boutique villas absolutely will be my first choice when I go to siem reap next time.

“Beautiful property & wonderful staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Elegantly manicured garden & pool area with open-air restaurant. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast included - and wonderful. Location is a bit far from town, tuk-tuks into town are around $3. Staff can arrange trips/guides/tours easily.

I'm new to trip advisor but felt compelled to write a review about Sojourn, even though we stayed last September.

If only all hotels were like this one.....

We stayed in Siem Reap for a week, during the bad flooding which occurred last year. Many of the tourist attractions were closed for the first half of our stay - the night market, Pub Street, even some of the temples. We arrived on the Sunday and couldn't actually leave the resort until the Wednesday...

Not that it mattered...The staff, the service, the quality of both food and drinks at Sojourn are all amazing. We stayed in a Temple Villa, it was immaculate. The salt water pool is great and has a swim up bar which was well stocked and also served non alcoholic cocktails - yum! Breakfast (included in the rate) was a menu full of lovely choices...and again the quality of the food was just fab.

Come Wednesday we managed to arrange a driver and guide through the hotel, to take us to three of the main Temples, which was fantastic. We also visited Tonal Sap floating village which in our opinion is a must do.

We took part in one of the cooking classes organised by the hotel - what a great experience! Highly recommended!

We will return to Sojourn this May and my mum is coming with us - we will again stay in a villa and she has booked a terrace room, so i'm hoping Sojourn has stayed exactly the same!

“LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We stayed there for 3 nights and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone!
the staff is so friendly and helpful, the area is very quiet and beautiful, the grounds were clean and well maintained, and we loved our little cottage.
The hotel works with the locals to keep the place clean (they provide them with bins so they dont throw stuff on the road) and in exchange give them food etc... they seem to be very much in touch with the locals and really care about the environment
We had a package where we had a driver, did a sunset picnic, and they took us to the temples..
The only issues we had (not hotel fault) is that our tour guide at the temples couldnt speak english very well and we struggled a lot to understand what he was saying. Also, I would absolutely recommend to go as early as you can because when the sun is out.. its roasting!
But staying at Sojourn was great and I would definitely go back there!

“Retreat in Siem Reap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

Sojourn is avery sweet small boutique hotel. The villas are spacious and very comfortable. Bathrooms are nicely appointed. THey should however do something like a rubber mat to step out of shower. The floor is very slippery. Service is great and very friendly. We enjoyed the pool one late afternoon after touring all day. THe location is in a village on the out skirts of Siem Reap which adds to its charm. We were very happy and comfortable here. Also enjoyed chatting with the manager who was very knowledgable.
