At first, I got a double room that had a strange smell. And it was close to the stairs, so I could hear people going up and downstairs all night. It wasn't something that made me stay awake the whole night. No. I could sleep, but sometimes, during the night, I could hear steps.
Then, after coming back from Isla del Sol, I changed the room and this one was MUCH better than the first one. Althought it was smaller, neither strange smell nor noise.
The breakfast is OK. Bread, butter, jelly, chocolate, tea, coffee.
There's free wifi in the room. But the best for me was the hot shower.

Hotel Copacabana is cheap, clean and a good place to stay. It's very basic but that's what this place is. Rooms and bathrooms are small so if you want space go somewhere else. No other problems. Would recommend.

Good location, simple but clean and cheap. Very friendly staff. Take a room with a good windom facing the sun, it will increase the temperature in your room! Good travelagency at the groung floor.

The Copacabana is an excellent budget hotel. It is right on Illampu street, close to everything, and rooms are great value. The rooms have wooden floors, bathrooms are small but very clean, and free Wifi that however doesnt reach all rooms well. Breakfast is poor so I skipped it, plenty of choices around. I would absolutely not recommend the travel agency downstairs which has nothing to do with the hotel. I booked an excursion but it was cancelled last minute so no chance to organise something else, even though 3 hours before all was confirmed with enough people in the group.
