This was my first time staying here, and the experience was absolutely amazing! It's in a great location, within walking distance of several wineries, local eateries, and shops. The main house and the guest cottage are gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, Alan and Leigh showed such kindness and generosity, and the food was nothing short of heavenly! He is truly a gourmet chef! Every room seems to have its own personality. We are already planning our next visit. This B&B isn't just a place to stay along your way. It is a great destination!

My boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed our trip to this B&B. He took me here for an early birthday gift. How romantic! Fabulous food and friendly company. This was my first B&B experience and it will be very hard to top!

For our 39th wedding anniversary, we wanted to stay at a GREAT B&B near St Louis. We selected H.S. Clay because they had such an inviting website. When we arrived, we started the "taste" of something wonderful! Leigh gave us a complete tour before settling into our lavish Turret suite. Later in the week, we also stayed in the Cottage ... it was like a cozy retreat for us. Hard to decide which we liked more ... guess we'll just have to come back and checkit out again!

Alan was the superb chef who cared for our every need when it came to our taste buds! Oh my how he could make our mouths water!

Leigh and Alan's hospitality was amazing!!! We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every minute. It was a beautiful drive back to St Louis this wonderful sunny Fall day. It was the beginning of our 40th year together with one more memorable anniversary we definitely won't forget. Thanks!

What a wonderrful experience. Facinating property, gracious hosts, unbelievable food. Far exceeded our expectations!! After a day of cycling the trail, this was perfect.
