“Beautiful Fall Weekend”

My husband and I have been wanting to take our bikes down to MO for along time and ride the Katy Trails. Found the Wine Country Inn on the internet so really had no idea what to expect. We have stayed at Bed and Breakfast's before, but this was the quintessential Bed and Breakfast experience. The house is truly "Gone with the Wind" style in a quaint town. Jan was very warm and inviting when we arrived and Kathryn met us at the house (after we had had our wine and cheese and crackers when we checked it) and made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The breakfasts in the mornings were amazing and large so we were well fed to start our ride! Our room was large and comfortable and we felt like we were staying in someone's home (which of course we were). We will be back.

“Relaxing weekend at Augusta Wine Country Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2011

My husband and I and another couple visited Augusta Wine Country Inn bed and breakfast this weekend and had a wonderful time! None of us have ever been to Augusta Missouri before and were looking froward to visiting the wineries and staying at a bed and breakfast. Jan greeted us when we arrived on Friday evening and was so pleasant and helpful, we then arrived over at the Inn and was greeted by Kathryn who showed us to our rooms and made us feel very welcome along with giving us a bit of history on the house. We stayed in the Mary Frazier suite and our friends stayed in the Powers suite. Both were very comfortable and decorated nicely, the beds were so comfortable! Breakfast was served over at the Ashley's Rose/White House Restaurant and Paul did an excellent job serving us a wonderful and delicious breakfast! We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Augusta area, I know we can't wait until our next visit!

My wife and I stayed at the Wine Country Inn for our anniversary. We had a great time walking to the vineyards and the brewery in town. We stayed in the Mary Frazier suite. The sunrise on the balcony was beautiful. The host was always gracious and breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back.

“So wonderful”

This is the second time we've been to the Augusta Wine Country Inn, and we'll be back. After a bike ride on the Katy Trail, we arrived to a warm welcome, some delicious wine and snacks, and great conversation with Jan and a few other guests. Kathryn showed us to our room . . . . a big, comfortable room with a great bed, decorated just right. After dinner at a local windery, we got a good night's sleep and woke to a gourmet breakfast the next morning.

This place is close to our home in St Louis, but could be worlds away. We loved it again, and will be back.

My husband and I just got back from a delightful stay at the inn. Jan greeted us with wine and cheese. Kathryn was there to show us to our room. They are both friendy and welcoming. The room we stayed in was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. The Katy Trail is nearby and we enloyed a couple of beatiful bike rides. We will be back!
