This lovely old three room suite provided a tranquil retreat for two. The suite can accommodate two adults and two children using the pull out sofa in the sitting room. The suite resides on the third floor so everyone needs to be mobile, stroller age kids would be difficult unless your very energetic.
The proprietors provided a lovely tray full of fruits, nuts, cheeses, a baget, yummy muffins, sausage and crackers in the fridge along with other amenities allowing us to whip up a nice breakfast.
There was a small flat screen tv we used briefly. What we appreciated more was a stereo with a few CD's which provided some nice mood music. You could bring your own but since we didn't it was nice having a little Michael Buble crooning in the background.
The queen size bed was firm which we prefer. We did not test the pullout.
FYI, the town rolls up it's sidewalks by 6:30 pm. Ours was a brief midweek trip and we were looking for some alone time, the town was perfect for just such a trip. If your looking for a later evening or entertainment you may want a larger venue.
We also enjoyed a couples massage off premises at Talycon. I believe for an additional $20 they will accommodate at your B & B if your staying in Augusta. Hope this helps anyone looking for a getaway.
