You've been driving for hours down I-90, it's getting late, the sun's going down and then you see lights in the distance. Just off the road, conveniently close to the exit for Albert Lea, stands the Best Western. It was surprisingly quiet, had a spotless pool. The room was quite spacious and had a computer table with outlets on top that made connecting our netbook to the Internet via the hotel Wi-Fi that much easier. Breakfast was free and typical of Best Western but if anyone had a special request, the reception and management were very ready to fulfill it. And if you're looking for a family style restaurant, it's walking distance from the hotel to Appleby's, which we enjoyed very much. The Best Western of Albert Lea is highly recommended.

The facilities were clean and attractive. The wifi was complimentary and excellent. Three WiFi throughput tests ranged from 7.4 to 8.6 MB/sec. Breakfast was complimentary and typical for the hotel class.

Most impressive was the service. Interactions with all staff were great. When I came to breakfast well after it ended and examined the limited items left out, the receptionist didn't miss a beat with offering to bring out some hot breakfast items for me.

Nice facilities and great service. The only spot I'll look up when visiting Albert Lea.

Had the pleasure of staying at this best western and was pleasently surprised. It was exceptionaly clean and the employees very helpful, and friendly. The breakfast served was excellent, and area well kept up. The beds were perfect, and the pillows made for comfort. Thanks Best Western, We will definately stay again.

Stayed over on trip out west. At first impressions wasn't sure about the person checking us in with spiked hair - but he was extremely friendly and helpful. Made a great customer service impression and we appreciated that. Room was clean and would stay again.
