I stayed here in July 2010 for about 3 weeks. Gisela and Carlos are very accommodating and friendly. I arrived very late (1am) and they were both waiting at the front gate to greet me, give me a quick walk-through, and show me to my room. The room was small, but nice with a bunk bed, a wardrobe, and a night table. There was a bathroom on my floor, which was almost exclusively mine (except when other guests occupied a room on the same floor) which was really nice. The shower was under the stairwell, meaning that the ceiling was slanted and I had to stand toward the very edge of the shower in order to be able to stand up straight (I'm 5'8" tall). Breakfast was served at 9:30 every morning - perfect for me because I got to sleep in a little bit! And it was absolutely delicious: fresh fruits from Gisela and Carlos' farm, oatmeal, yogurt, crepes, bread, coffee, tea, juice, and more. My room and bathroom were cleaned every day around noon. The location is really good. It's on a very steep hill, but right off a main road and about a 10 minute walk from the center of Viña. I never felt unsafe - not only is it a safe neighborhood, but the house itself has locked gate surrounding it. Wireless internet was also available and worked about 90% of the time.
What I liked best: the ample breakfast, Gisela and Carlos' willingness to help, the location.
What I liked the least: the shower, the thin walls (I could hear every word of a conversation in the next room even with the doors and windows shut)
I would definitely stay here again!
