We just finished a delightful 8 day stay at this charming, well run B&B. Sofia and her aunt are very cordial, friendly hosts who run an exceptionally clean and comfortable establishment. They were attentive to all our needs and provided valuable suggestions on shopping, sightseeing, banking etc. on a daily basis.
No need for a rental car here. Two blocks from this quiet residential location and you can enter the downtown Viña business/shopping district or catch the new metro-subway for a 15 minute ride to the port of Valparaiso. Excellent restaurants and beaches are a reasonable walk through town or done in minutes by taxi. Everything is easy to do from this lovely B&B. The Chilean style breakfasts, which are included, are a wonderful start to the day.
The home has been recently remodeled in a tasteful, stylish manner with beautiful wooden floors, a lovely sitting room/dining room, and lovely, peaceful garden terrace in back. We loved it here and will return on future visits to Viña and urge our friends to come to this one of a kind B&B as well. An exceptional find!

We just came back to the states after spending a good 3 days in Santiago and a wonderful 2 nights in Viña Del Mar for our anniversary.
We would just like to say thank you to Luis and Adda at Casa Newen and also to the staff in Vina Del Mar for making our stay there very romantic! Luis was very knowledgeable about the goings on in Santiago and the horse carriage tour (Victoria in Spanish) to the Flower Clock and the view to the ocean near Wulff Castle in Vina Del Mar was spectacular!

¨We were recommended this villa from Adda and Louis from Casa Newen in Santiago because it´s also run by their own family. Sofia our host is very sweet and helped us out in anything we needed. The house is very pretty, loved the chandeliers.

Vina del Mar and Valparaiso is an enchanting place to visit, we really loved the tranquility and charming colourful houses on the cliffs.

It IS a very quiet place next to a park, great for privacy but you do have to walk about 20 mins to the casino and beach but it´s very laid back and a great beach holiday. We had most of the stuff and food we needed but I recommend a few spanish phrases tucked up you´re sleeve for extra shopping, but otherwise great coastal town to kick you feet up in. ¨
