Last day today so sad to be leaving.

Best location by far, right on the beach and it has its own private beach. Stayed at Residences with a massive 2 bedroom apartment. Half Board package was OK, decent breakfast, dinner not a massive extravagent buffet as in some hotels but good quality and always something for the family (no chips though on any night much to my son's annoyance).

Now the downside and although rating it highly I would not return. The extras are all at extortionate rates. Wine £13 per glass for example, I thought it was Dubai in general but the Marriott only charges £7). Lunch on the beach you could easily get through £100 for 4 with a meal including meat and a drink. Internet £20 per day.

The Hilton is seriously pricing its self out of the market with these extras in what is a fab hotel and location.

My father and I were staying at this hotel for 10 days, and everything was great! My father has stayed here for several times and says that the hotel get better every year. As for me, it was my first stay at this hotel and I'm very happy that we chose this hotel because service, food and atmosphere are really fantastic! We are sure to come here again!

Dubai has so many 5 star hotels. I debated and chose Hilton based on price, location, reviews, email responses and gold member benefits. Being a first time Dubai visitor, I wanted to see the Jumeirah beach and also be close enough to check out the city's sights in one day. Many hotels I emailed before making the booking didn't even return my emails or took several days to respond. Hilton Jumeirah was prompt and that steered me to book the hotel. As we were arriving early AM, I wanted to have a good chance to get a room early and Hilton came through by checking us in about an hour after we arrived at 7AM. In the meantime, we were offered to have breakfast at the 9th floor executive lounge. It offered great selection of food and drinks and the staff were fantastic.

We stayed in a King corner alcove room. This room was very spacious and offered almost 270 degree view of the city and the beach. Everything about the room was great and the bed was really comfortable. From the balcony, you can see out to Burj Al Arab on one side and old dinky looking Sheraton to the other side. I guess only negative is that the Hilton, both exterior and interior, is modern and doesn't give the local flavor. But then this side of Dubai is very modern and the Hilton fits right in.

The pool looked nice and the Jumeirah beach is really nice. Even in a cool February weather, the beach was filled with people and the clear blue water, although cold, was refreshing. The executive lounge was pretty much open all day and had different selection of food and drinks throughout the day. The afternoon snack with different pastries and fruits were really good. We didn't get to try restaurants due to our short stay. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and is very busy with locals even after midnight.

It cost 100 dihrams from the airport to the hotel via taxi. It cost about 50 dihrams to the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa via taxi. Hotel does offer shuttle services to some other malls. Dubai was bigger than I imagined and we didn't get to check out all the places. Hilton is little further away from the main attractions but is still a fantastic place to stay and enjoy everything that Dubai has to offer.

All the staff were super nice and very professional. I will not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Dubai.
