“Fantastic Hotel - Best in the World!”

We stayed at this hotel last summer for 2 weeks and had a great time throughout our entire stay. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and the private beach is the best beach we have ever been to (and we've been to beaches in the caribbean!) The staff are really friendly and always go out of there way to do whatever they can to make your stay the best it can be (there is even a golf buggy to transport you down to the beach in the hot weather). The rooms are immaculate and you are left chocolates, fruit and water by your cleaner everyday.

Recommend to everyone!

“Simply put...an Amazing Hotel!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

My wife, 17 month year old son and I stay at Le Royal Meridien for 5 nights in Jan 2012. The 5 days prior were spent at the Atlantis Palm. I'm so glad we split the holiday up, as the disappointment with the Atlantis was very quickly made up with a wonderful stay at Le Royal Meridien.

As soon as we arrived my wife and I felt that this hotel is "more like us". Welcoming staff, and a very personal check in. We were walk around to the Tower reception where we were given a free upgrade to a tower room. As we were shown to the room we were a little disappointed with the view as we over looked the building site of a new hotel next door. However this was the only fault to the room. We did however ask if we could see if there was a room with a better view. We were show to our original room (a deluxe room), and although the view was better as it over looked the pools, the room itself lacked the quality of the Tower. We therefore decided to stay and put up with the view, which didn't effect the stay at all.

From then on the stay was amazing. Great pools, especially for our young son. Lovely grounds, and nice stretch of beach. The restaurants were also amazing too. For Breakfast, the Fusion Restaurant (Asian) was place of choice, and also did an amazing dinner. However the Maya Restaurant (Mexican) was the best restaurant we ate at in the whole of Dubai - and we went everywhere. Neither my wife or I actually like mexican but the food was incredible.

This hotel caters for everyone. There were lots of activities for children but was large enough not to notice them, so perfect for couples too.

If we were to go back to Dubai (which would be unlikely), we would certainly stay here again.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and to include some truly wonderful professional photos.

Having chosen to stay with us for your second week in Dubai, we were delighted to hear that you, your wife and son really enjoyed your stay and that you found our team to be welcoming and accommodating whilst providing a truly personal service.

With regards to the view from your room, you will be pleased to hear that we are nearing the end of the building extension of the neighboring hotel, so this challenge will cease shortly.

We were also happy to hear that you enjoyed the grounds and pools with in the resort and were able to experience a number of our dining options. We were really pleased to hear that although you are both not a fan of Mexican food, we managed to change your mind after your dinner in Maya by Richard Sandoval.

Thank you once again and whilst you are not intending to return to Dubai, if you do it would be a pleasure to welcome you back.

Kind regards

“3 night stay in royal meridan”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

we have just returned from a three night stay in this hotel. Staff were of a very high standard, polite, helpfull etc. However, I am sorry to say would not return. We were three ladies and requested three singles.W were told on arrival we would have a family room which consisted of king size overlooking street. we stated we had booked three singles, which we got overlooking garden. However, our room was small and a fold up bed. I feel the price per night was far too high for what we received. If rooms were all the same ,regarding size ,they could have upgraded us at no extra expensive. Having visited other hotels, which may be a little more expesive, but worth it. Meridan expensive for what it has to offer "inside" the hotel. Lunch and dinner very expensive

Room Tip: make sure you request garden view

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a constructive review of your stay at the hotel.

We were happy to hear that you found high standards within the resort and our team was both helpful and friendly.

With regards your room, we were sorry to hear that you felt the roll away bed was not the most suitable option with three adults travelling together and that you found the room to be a little small with this additional bed placed in the room. Our hotel rooms are generally designed to accommodate two adults with perhaps a small child and therefore with three persons the room will become a little tight. We do offer connecting rooms and suites should you prefer to stay together.

With regards to pricing, your comments are very valuable and whilst we continually benchmark our pricing against other five star beach properties within Dubai, we will be sure to take note when reviewing our menus again.

Once again thank you for your review.

Kind regards

“Each visit just gets better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

This was our third stay at this hotel in about 7 years and i really think its got even better. We stayed this time in feb so it was low season and the hotel was fairly quiet. We booked b&b and stayed in the Tower with a lovely veiw over the pool and beach. The building work that had blighted our last stay, a few years ago, has all but stopped (a sign of the times affecting Dubai at the moment). The room wasnt huge but perfectly adaquate.Nice robes and slippers, tea making facilities, huge tv with some satillite english speaking channels, and very comfotable beds with feather pillows. There are 3 lovely pools with plenty of sunbeds and the beach is on the doorstep. A fabulous afternoon tea is served between 3&5 and is free if you stay in the Club or tower rooms. (Best part of the day for me!). Also,at 6.30 to 8.30 in the evening, free cocktails, wine and beer with unlimited canapes (absolutley scrumptious) served in the lounge or on the terrace. Quite a few evenings we didnt need dinner as this food was enough to keep us full till breakfast!. The staff are wonderful and very attentive without being 'OTT'. No pressure for tips but they really do appriciate it when you do. All in all, an extremley relaxing and lovely stay and we will certainly return to this hotel if we return to Dubai.

Room Tip: Book a club room and theres every chance you will be upgraded to the Tower. Always go for a pool/sea...
