Stayed two nights on route from Uk to Australia. Hotel lived up to expectations and earlier Trip Advisor posts. Pick up the free shuttle from the airport every 20 mins and save 40 UAE each trip. Staff friendly and knowledgable about the area and places to see. Rooms clean and comfortable. Costa coffee on site with snacks and restaurant offers limited choice meals which are fine. We used the shuttle to airport to pick up the metro which is cheap, new and easy to understand. Flex tickets include buses as well as metro so getting around can be cheap. We splashed out on afternoon tea at Jumeriah Beach Hotel, fabulous!

I have stayed here several times and just completed another wonderful stay. It's an ideal place for anyone visiting Dubai that wants a hotel that's close to the airport, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The rooms / bathrooms have been consistently spotless, very friendly and courteous staff, free airport shuttle that also makes trips to the shopping mall, rooftop pool and jacuzzi, free internet...everything one would want in a hotel and at rates that are very reasonable for Dubai. I highly recommend this hotel for business and pleasure travellers !

Very good shuttle bus from Terminal 3 . Extra of 150 Dahl for early check in (at 10am). Free Wifi.
Good breakfast at 55 Dahl (children under 16 free).

This is not a hotel of rich excess . . . which is what most people think of when they think of Dubai. This is a basic hotel that does its job well. First, it is really convenient to the airport. Step outside of arrivals and wait for a shuttle (purple) that arrives every half hour. The driver even gave me a free bottle of chilled water! (He must have known it was a brutal 13 hour flight that I had just been on!) It literally takes ten minutes to get from the arrivals area to the front door of the hotel. You can look out the windows and see the planes taxi to the gates. The front desk is helpful and efficient. There is a 24 hour deli-bakery for snacks, and a full service bar and restaurant. The prices are high, but it is the UAE. We didn't have great restaurant food until the last night. It was pretty basic and tasteless. The last night, I had the hummus sandwich, which was excellent! I should have stayed away from the "American" food and went straight for the Arabic food! The room was spare and comfortable. I loved the arrow on the ceiling telling me which direction Mecca was. There is a Metro station nearby and at the airport, so once you get on the Metro, it is a pretty easy journey just about anywhere you want to go. We got the unlimited day pass for about $5 USD.
