The hotel is new. Rooms are not that big but are equipped with almost all you need.
The service is excellent. If you have any problem or need they do their best to satisfy you. When you arrive to the hotel for the first time, they welcome you with a glass of orange juice and a towel to dry sweat.
Free internet is only available in lobby which is good for dubai.
It's about 7 mins walk to metro station and however it is located in the business district you can get to main malls, beaches and attracions in about 30 mins by taxi (not in the peak hour of traffic), metro, bus or shuttles.
The nearest famous shopping mall is the deira city center which you can go there by the hotel shuttle or walk (about 20 mins walk).
And if you want to have a guest in your room don't worry about additional costs (which some hotels in dubaicharge for it). In this hotel they welcome your guests without need to pay any additional costs for her/him.
This is a dry hotel and doesn't have a night club but if your are looking for one you can go to near hotels like hilton or moscow wich is a couple minutes by walk.

hotel rooms are small. but it is very good service and setup for its price. it is centrally located and staff is very friendly (sometimes too friendly) and nice. the breakfast is very good one. free internet is only on the grownd floor. would be nice to have it in the rooms too (free of charge!). you can pay for wireless internet in the rooms, but it is not worth the cost if you are staying for one or 2 dasy. nice bar, close to airport, close to metro, air conditioned.

I choose this hotel trying to close our vacation in a nice place.
The smallest rooms we´ve found in our trip, our room was skipped for service twice, only warm water, too many trainees at the restaurant.
Only one of the concierges drove the extra mile and helped us with some luggage we sent from Kuwait and delayed at customs.
They don´t sell alcohol, to have a beer you have to go the Hilton next door and pay like a bottle of champagne.
Far from most of the atractions, maybe good fr business.

I found this hotel to be an excellent place for stop over to Australia.
The staff were superb. Nothing too much trouble. Food very good indeed. One of the best breakfasts ever. Spacious rooms. Only criticismI found was the pillows to be a bit uncomfortable. Feather ones would have made the stay perfect.
