“Beautifully run hotel in heart of luang prabang”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Beautiful traditional hotel in wonderful location at the quiet end of the main street in Luang Prabang.
The most charming and efficient manager who makes the whole experience even more pleasurable. Excellent restaurant , delicious food , good wine list and good service. Breakfast was delicious. Our room 7 was perfect with a really comfortable bed (disgusting shiny nylon mosquito net ! -) forgiven for all the other very tasteful and a lovely things in the room. Stunning place to watch the daily ritual of alms giving at dawn. highly recommended.

Room Tip: Room 7. Perfect. Rooms on the other side also very quiet and well appointed.

“Fabulous hotel in must see Luang Prabang”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Loved the city and the hotel - a winning combination. Very good service, lovely rooms and good helpful staff. Free bikes to borrow to cycle round town, good breakfasts of all kinds. Rooms large and set in traditional old houses - split across the road bit don't be put off as it doesn't detract. The extension if you can call it that has huge rooms with big seating area all in traditional wood - romantic four poster bed with mosquito nets, our first floor room was a little dark but as we sat happily either on the front veranda or in the lovely garden behind not a problem. Restaurant was - a little pricey for the area. there are so many within a short walk to choose from - but food was beautifully presented. Go and enjoy!

Room Tip: The hotel is split across a quiet road we were across the road from the reception and had a huge roo...

“Best in class, but way over priced”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We visited Luang Prabang during the peak, peak so we wanted to be sure of getting a good room in a good location in the old town. Our spacious room was located in the former royal residence (Khamboua building) and was furnished with antique style furniture (this is code for not very comfortable). The bed however was very accommodating and we slept well with a tsunami of pillows to aid us.
The bathroom was large and cute, but barely functional. The shower only scores 2/5
The saving grace was the large veranda overlooking the pleasant garden, but despite claims to the contrary, no view of the river that is out of view behind the trees. Location is 5/5
Service was attentive and efficient, but not world class and not many smiles.
Given the room price, the breakfast was barely average ~ I expected more.
Price-wise the 3Nagas is not good value, you can definitely do better elsewhere, but you will need to do some research to ensure that you get a room with the competitors that overlooks either the Nam Khan or MeeKong rivers. If you have to use the 3Nagas, avoid the Lamache House building which is on the busy Main Street

“There nagas perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

The hotel has extraordinary charm and excellent service. The restaurant is the best in Luang Prabang and not overpriced. We ate there 2 out of 3 nights and wish we had done so all three!
The manager is attentive and accessible.

“A pretentious ill-equiped restruant and hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

For Christmas - set price of $45 US they didn't have everything they promised and then changed a service fee for a glass of wine. They have their heads up their butts with a lot of surface decoration.

Room Tip: Try somewhere else!
