“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

Stayed in Villa Borna for 2 weeks in August 2011. I honestly cannot fault anything about this place. The accommodation is top class, clean, tidy and maintained. The location is excellent for Lapad and is just a short spin on the bus to the Old Town. Martin the host was excellent and helpful. The place is like a home away from home and I would recommend to anyone. I may even get the chance to return someday!

Room Tip: Apartment 9 has a big private sun terrace that is not overlooked, fab! And pool on same level!

“Great stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2011

My family stayed here for 5 nights in 3 apartments. Although differing a little in size each one is well appointed and spotlessly clean. We all ate together outside on the terrace. We found Maritn to be a great host and was keen to do anything to ensure we had a good stay. It is situated a short walk away from the bars and restaurants in Lapad and the bus stop for the old city is also only a short walk. The No. 6 bus takes about 10/15 mins to the old city. It was nice to come back after a day sightseeing and use the pool. There is a well stocked supermarket (open 7 days 7am -9pm) about 3 minutes walk.

“It was a very nice place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

It has a spectacular view from the top of a hill where you can see the water and the city. Martin is a little bossy as he is a German (as he say) and everything must be in place (no pool after 22:00, curtains must be closed when the sun is bright and the cooler is on-just to save energy). Everything was clean, the kitchen had all the tools you need.It is indeed close to a beach.

“Beautiful views”

Our room was spacious, clean and Martin was a fantastic host. We enjoyed the view from the pool and our room. Old town is just minutes away by cab and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at a restaurant of Martin's recommendation. He was also so kind as to take us to the airport, thanks again Martin!

“Villa Borna, privacy? no thanks..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2010

The flat is decent and not wonderful. The price is, definitely, too high for the standard offered by Villa Borna.
At the beginning the owner seemed nice and kind, then he started to control everything, he went several times into the room when we were out to check that everything was ok.
I felt to have no more privacy and for that price it’s something just unacceptable.
Wifi connection does not work in the room, you have to go outside and sit on the stairs to get the signal, it costs 4 euro per night (another non competitive price).
If you want to waste money and loose your privacy the best place for you is..VILLA BORNA!
