5 of us rented 3 rooms overnight 25th February 2010 for the Liverpool 'away' Europa League game . We shared the total cost and it worked out as €26 each. Very clean and tidy in comparison to the local surrounding area which was a dump! A bottled beer at the bar was 8 Lei which is about €2. Rooms were very clean with mini bars. Bathrooms had spotless shower cubicles. Free wi fi provided (if you were sat in the bar area) which is essential these days. I would totally recommend this hotel as it is 2 mins walk from the budget airport next door. The airport itself is crowded and unpleasant. Taxi into town is about 15 mins and costs about 18 Lei (about €5). Traffic is mental around here and it's a good idea to be staying close to the budget airport for convenience of a hassle free getawaay. Beware of rip off taxi drivers!!! 1.39 Lei is the current rate for non rip off drivers'. This is displayed on the cab door. Hotel recommended.

I stayed here for 6 nights while working in Bucharest. It is a smashing hotel just around the corner from the not so great Banaesa airport (you can walk it, turn left out of airport and left again by main junction, its on your right). Great value for money, only a 3star but built in 2009 so up together and very clean and tidy. I ate in the small hotel restaurant most nights and although the menu is limited the food is excellant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If I'm over there again I'm staying at the Avis again.
The only thing is I don't know how far it is into centre of Bucharest, I worked at airport when I was there.
