Hotel is a little away from the main station, about 25 minutes of leisurely stroll with one rolling suitcase in hand. Or you could take a tram number 9 going left, get out at a Cibona Tower and continue straight for about 5 minutes.

The room was very clean, quiet and reasonably spacious. It had a shower installed over a bathtub which was very handy, at least for me.

Breakfast was excellent, in a big room with big windows. Plenty of choices, with tags written in Croatian, English and German, so there is no doubt about what are you eating. Good assortment of salads and cooked vegetables so you can eat something else beside cheese and marmalade if you are vegetarian.

Very good value for price considering how extremely expensive Zagreb hotels are, especially the ones near the city centre.

Stayed at Laguna together with several friends, and got to see some of the rooms. It was easy to book by internet, the rooms were clean, fine bathroom. Wireless access everywhere.

Personally I found it a little strange that the bar closed at 10 PM, but that was the local tradition.

Resturant was ok, even though getting a bowl filled with canned mushrooms when ordering mushroom salad was a surprise, hardly on the positive side.

Breakfast was fullfilling with a good selection of cereals, cold cuts, fruit, &c.

Beautiful city, and I would consider staying at the same hotel again for my next visit.

Hotel was ok, oldish and retro but basically everything was ok. We were surprised by the price of dog staying with us. It was 20 euros. This was the highest cost of a dog that we have ever paid in Europe.

We stayed at Laguna two times and our experience was different. The first room we had looked pretty old ( repainted and everything ) and the window wouldn't open. The second time, you could see that the room was more modern and everything was ok, except the distance to the elevators. The hotel has a big parking , internet , restaurant , souvenir and exchange. The only problem was with the breakfast since the options were pretty slim and somewhat weird for breakfast. The coffee was so bad that we couldn't touch it but we later found out that this was the case for all Croatia. I think the ratio between room price and distance to center is good( maximum 15 minutes from city center).
