It was the end of our Trip in Croatia September 2011.in early September, before Leaving Zagreb and Our Wonderful Stay at the Palace Hotel, and venturing out into the Adriatic Coastal Cities, returning at the end of September on our Way Back Home, I was Walking past the Regent Esplanade, one afternoon, and I said "what the heck" decided to Look into the Lobby. I looked around and seen the Reservation Desk, one of three. I asked the Reservation Person if I could get a Price for a Hotel Room, She was very Gracious and Friendly in the Best way to Give Me Complete Information. I asked to see the Room and the Reservation Person was more than Happy to show Me the Room. It was more than I expected. Room and Full Buffet Breakfast Included. I was very Pleased with the Room Rate, it was very competitive so I reserved the Room for Us. I often wondered what it would be like, Visiting and Staying in this Architectural Wonder and the Expectation we were going to Make Staying at the Regent Esplanade a Reality on Our Return was an Unexpected Wonderful Event . As we traveled throughout the Adriatic Coast I often thought of the Weekend we would be Spending at the Regent Esplanade on our Return to Zagreb. I thought it would never be a Possibility, but we came to Realize the Experience. Upon arrival a Well Dressed Doorman took our Car on a Valet Basis. We checked in and after that everything, every moment was just a Moment of Complete Comfort, Relaxation and Satisfaction. The Room was well appointed, Very Clean, with all the Toiletries a Person would need. The walk down the Corridor to our Room from the Elevator really turned back the clock with many timely Pictures on the Corridor Hall Walls and added to our emotion. We Dined at the Restaurant in the Hotel, we enjoyed one of the Best Fish Meals we ever had. The Service Staff in the Dining Room were Knowledgeable in Table Preparation of our Fresh Fish. They really added a Super Professional Touch to our Dining Experience. The Breakfast in the Morning was Fantastic. The Regent Esplanade from all We have read is truly one of the Great Hotels in the World, those that have Written High Regards for this Hotel got it right as well with all the other Hotels we stayed at in Croatia. As we were adventurous in that we Had a Rail Pass, the Location could not have been better. From Zagreb that early morning in late September we boarded our Train on our way to Vienna. Looking Back at the Wonderful Facade we said Goodbye to an Unforgettable Journey in Croatia, Hoping to return again sometime to this Wonderful Country of Hospitality and Top Rated Tourism Facilities with so much History and Culture that will always stay with us. Five Star all the way.
