Upon arrival, we parked just across the street from our room, per the owner. Within 5 minutes, we looked out and a policeman was writing a ticket. My husband ran out, but it was too late. The owner assured us over and over again that it would be "taken care of" by her and she took the ticket from us. To this day, we haven't gotten anything in the mail about the ticket, so we hope that she did indeed take care of it. (The final morning, our rental car was quite dented and scratched on the back fender. It's very crowded and busy in that area.) The room was small, clean, comfy and had a great view of the market across the street. It was very noisy, but we wanted to be in the middle of the life there, so if you don't mind the noise of the market and the people setting up, this is great. One morning, we ran over to the market for the fresh fruit and veggies and a great cup of coffee. Another morning, the market had antiques, books, etc. You can walk to the historic older downtown, or take the "train", easy and convenient location. Would recommend this place, just don't rent a car if you don't have to for this part of Croatia.
