The Staff were fantastic - they setup a four bed-room for us to use as a two person private. It has a Kitchen with free bosnian coffee and an amazing terrace with a great view over Sarajevo. The bathroom and shower were great as were the security features in the hostel.
We thouroughly enjoyed it - it is a 15 minute walk up a very steep hill from town - but the climb is worth it!

4 of us stayed here for 2 nights in July. It's a really little hostel with 2 dorms and one private room. We had the private room which to be honest was a very small, dark and semelt a bit of damp. That said, Haris the owner is a really nice guy and he did lend us a couple of electric fans to try and cool the room down as it was about 40 degrees outside! Haris even put on a free barbarcue which is a really nice touch and was a great way to meet other travellers at the hostel. The location is up a really steep hill which is a nightmare to climb in such heat but does give you great views once up there.
Overall, it is a good, well priced hostel in a decent location. The private room was a bit of a let down but this was compensated for by the friendliness of the host and the great views from the roof terrace. Would recommend but maybe best to stay in the dorms.

Haris Youth hostel is perched up above the old town area - the view of Sarajevo from the hostel terrace is fantastic.
Haris himself is really friendly and helpful and you will find notes on the wall from other guests saying so! He is really down to earth and adds to the charm of the place.
The facilities are simple and clean - but the friendly approach you dont find everywhere. Down the road towards the old town we found a wonderful little bakery with delicious freshly baked pastries!
Our only regret was that we didnt stay long enough to take one of the Tours they offer - sounded great!
BiH by far is an amazing country to visit! Go there!

This Hostel was great, Harris is a non stop workaholic. He provide you with the best service he possibly can. Be sure to go on his daily tour of the city, it was definitely worth it! Also a great way to meet people from the hostel. It is up a steep hill, so I recommend a taxi when travelling with bags or for the soft. But this does provide amazing views of the entire city! Kitchen is handy, Tv/DVDs for lazy times, and generally a good time had!

Haris is one of best hostel owners I have come across.He always very helpful and tries to make you feel at home.
THe view from the hostel is fantastic .There is an outside area to sit (too large to call it a balcony )and especuially at sunset time.
