“Montevideo's Newest Hotel, Great Rooms, Quiet Location”

This is Montevideo's newest hotel (as of December 2011). The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, just 400 mts away from Punta Carretas Shopping Center. It belongs to the brazilian chain Intercity. It is Intercity's first adventure outside Brazil, and it shows that they are doing a great effort to do their best.

The rooms are larger than average for the category. There were some minor hiccups in the restaurant, due to the hotel being so new, but the waitress did her best effort to solve it, and we got a free desert.

Overall, great value

Room Tip: The executive suites are amazing

“Hidden Gem - Newest Hotel in Montevideo”

This is the newest hotel in Montevideo. It is placed in a quiet area in Punta Carretas not far from the Golf Club and the Shopping Mall.
This is mainly a business oriented hotel, but works fine for families also. The rooms are extra big, clean and comfortable and the service is cordial and helpful. For below $120/night I think it is one of the best options around.

I was given a beautifully room on the 10th floor with a great view, and the free WIFI and Breakfast are definitely a plus. I could not try the Gym or the Jacuzzi, so no opinion on that.
