“Absolutely wonderful!!”

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this quiet delight on our trip to the Sacred Valley around New Years. The staff could not have been more helpful! From the front desk (Hellen) to Enrique (bartender) everyone there had a warm, welcoming, and positive attitude. The room was clean, new, and comfortable giving us the feeling of complete relaxation. Our king size bed was great and the waterfall shower was exactly what we needed after long days of climbing the stairs of the Incan ruins!! A little noisy from the people upstairs and a little improvement in the menu (which we understand is under revamp) were the only things that were less than perfect. They even dealt with the crazy Russian lady with absolute professionalism!! I would recommend this hotel to everyone!!!! Excellent and more is the only way to describe this beautifully set oasis!!

Room Tip: Upstairs might have slightly less sound.

“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon on a Trafalgar tour. While it was only one night, the staff made us feel right at home. The scenery was fantastic, especially if you get up early enough to watch the sun peek up over the mountains. We were also given a complementary bottle of wine because the hotel staff knew it was our honeymoon. It is out of the way and isolated, but that just adds to the peace that we experienced while staying here. My wife and I loved it, if we ever travel to Peru through the Urubamba Valley again we will definitely be staying here.

“Superb peaceful place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

I stayed here for one night as part of a tour of the Sacred Valley. I was a bit concerned when we headed down a dirt track with a bunch of cows blocking the path but was pleasantly suprised when we entered.

The girl in her early 20s wh checked me in was really nice and friendly and I had a few chats to her.The room was great, the place is made up of shallet / lodge blocks that are split into four. The room inside felt brand new, good quality wooden floor, excellent bathroom and sink area.

I ate in the restaurant which was good and the breakfast is higher than normal Peruvian standards. There is alos a relaxed although very quiet bar area that has free internet use.

If I come back to the Sacred Valley I would definitely stay here and high recommend.

“Peace, Quiet and Comfort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

My family and I just loved our stay at the Inkallpa. As others have said, the grounds are beautiful and the rooms comfortable. The whole place gives an air of quiet, tasteful relaxation and seclusion, which somehow seems just right in this heart-stoppingly lovely valley. The family and staff running the hotel treated us with warmth and kindness. We'd happily go back.

If there is one knock against Inkallpa, it is the food. Breakfast is sparse and monotonous and the restaurant of acceptable but not memorable quality.

“Lovely, relaxing hotel in the Sacred Valley perfect for acclimatizing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

Nice views and quiet hotel
Very relaxing
Very clean
Nice and spacious hotel rooms
Limited menu choices
Food was OK
Hotel is still quite new. The spa is not yet open.

There's construction during the day but you hardly notice it

The hotel is about an hour from Cusco

Perfect spot to acclimatize to the altitude if you're planning on hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Hotel's a bit out of the way so you will need to get a taxi to get to the main towns... 15soles one way to Urubamba town
