Beautiful and peaceful lodge, and staff was beyond friendly and helpful! We decided to acclimate before going to Cusco and it was a great suggestion. From this hotel, you can take daily hikes and mountain bike trips- close to Moray, Maras, and Salineras...David and Jose who managed the restaurant were the best.. Very accommodating and offering tips on what to do in the area.

“Delicious resturant with friendly chef”
We didn't actually stay in this hotel, but we ate lunch and had a drink at the resturant on the property. We had a wonderful experience at the resturant. Both times we were there David, the chef, opened the resturant for us. He was helpful, friendly, the food was delicious, and it is in a beautiful setting. The hotel looked beautiful. Make sure to stop in and grab a bite if you're in the area.

“An oasis in beautiful surroundings”

It's hard to put into words just how wonderful staying at qawana was. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, thanking in particular, Jorge, the lodge manager. The restaurant staff were wonderful - beautiful tasting and presented lunches and dinners - very talented chef. Patrick (the waiter) makes the best Pisco Sour in Peru! Our stay at the Lodge greatly enhanced our travels through Peru - it was sad to leave.
