I only stayed one night before catching another flight the next morning, but the hotel was clean and comfortable, the service really good. i appreciated the free drink they offer to all guests at the hotel bar on their first night as welcome gift.

Stayed here two nights while visiting Lima. Good location in Miraflores. Property is a little strange, with odd open vents to the outside in the bathrooms that can't be closed (meaning outside noise infiltrates the room). For Peru okay, but don't expect luxury here. Room was decent size, staff not very fluent in English (but could work around it).

When we checked into the San Agustin Exclusive, the front desk staff was not terribly friendly or helpful, which had absolutely been the norm in Peru thus far. The hotel didn't look at all as it had in the photos advertising it (it was more run-down than expected), and the minibar in our room was not filled. This was only an issue on departure when we had to engage in a lengthy discussion with the front desk staff about the fact that no, we hadn't consumed it, it just hadn't been there in the beginning. The breakfast facilities were adequate--but, quite simply, there are better hotels in Lima offering the same things.

Stayed at this property as a stop over through an airline in Peru that had a mechanical issue and this was there go to property. The hotel is a high rise downtown approximately 20 minute walk from the main square. The area around the hotel is consistent with the center of a busy second world city.

Check in was smooth and the staff were helpful and did speak English. Our room however was booked by the airline and was the equivalent of an older North American motel of a Super 8. From looking at some pics online it would appear they much have newer rooms in the hotel however this one was very average.

There was a restaurant and a bar however I was unable to use it do to lack of time at the hotel.

Check out was smooth however the staff at that time of the morning did not speak any English. Overall the stay was adequate for the reason I was there however if I was choosing a three star hotel which I believe this is rated I would look elsewhere.
