“Worst hotel I have ever stayed in”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 March 2011

I booked on line for 3 nights and it looked good. Of Course. We got in really late and were given the keys to the room. We got in the room and it was disgusting, ceiling peeling with water damage and the duvet on the bed could not have been washed in a year. it went strait on the floor. The next day the power went out, the staff seemed not to care. They just 2 hrs evertime we asked. The scary part was some power worked and the switches that did sparked when turned on or off. After second night there was no water. I asked and the staff member pointed to some bags that contained 2 liter bottles of water. That was it we left and found a much nicer hotel at the same rate. That place was fire trap and a pit!!!!!!!

“Not so nice place to stay”

We spent two nights in this hotel.

Negative:
- Room was dirty.
- The balcony door and windows couldn't be locked, so we wasn't feeling very safe sleeping there.
- Tha airport pick up didn't work, though we had secured it to be there a day before and they said someone would wait us at the airport.

Positive:
- Location was pretty good.
- Staff was nice

“why not. decent place to stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 April 2010

if you like Lima and Miraflores then this is a inexpensive way to stay in town. just 5min walk to Kennedy park. ask for a deal and they will help you out. i stayed there for 1 month to go to a language school after a VIP trip in Peru. this one is not for vip clients...hahaha but it was good for me. the staff is super cool there.

“Awful Hotel - don't even consider it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 February 2010
1

I stayed at the Nido Inn on February 2010 because of its location - this is the worst hotel that I have stayed ever.
The room was smelly and stuffy, the bedspread covers were clean but stained. The AC wasn't working when I complained about the heat; they brought this very awful fan and I had to ask for towels because the room had none - the towels looked old, like they haven't bought new towels in ages.
This was room was very minuscule, there wasn't even room to walk around, it had one armoire that was falling appart and was rotting away at the bottom with pieces of wood falling off. No bar fridge or room service.
This hotel looks more like a hostel or a low-end motel than a hotel. The front desk is a joke and at night random people show up to the front of the hotel and hang out there with nothing to do. Idid not feel safe leaving my belongings there during the day.
I only spent one night there and left immediately.
The only good thing about it is that it's very well sutiated close the Kennedy Park in Miraflores.
Don't stay there if you can help it.

“Horrible!! Bad rooms!!! Terrible Service!”

Do not recommend this hotel to anybody! The rooms are unconfortable, they don't provide with the services that you are paying for. Employees are not professionals at all. You will rather stay in a hostel, and expect more from them!
