After seeing the name 'Mystic' in a hotel name we had to book a night here!
We arrived at Cusco airport, collected by a friendly member of staff and on the way to our accomodation without delay.
When we arrived at the hotel we wondered where we had booked looking at the street outside, but rest assured it was all a false worry, the hosts were super warm and quickly showed us to our room which was much nicer than expected. The streets outside was nothing to worry about infact I really enjoyed the area.
The stay was generally good. A few issues made it not 10 out of 10.
The market opposite starts early (5am) with loud banging with the noise of people setting up stalls. The breakfast was not great and didnt really set us up for the long days ahead. (Coffee, bread roll & jam) the offer of eggs was available but we had no time due to other arrangements.
Overall other positives made it very good, We arranged another night upon our return so we were allowed to leave our large bags for free while visiting Machu Picchu, our laundry was also done while we were away. One member of staff (Young lady with glasses, sorry we didnt get her name) couldnt help us enough and was what made our stay there much better, by arranging laundry, booking taxi's, local knowledge, always friendly. Hope she gets the recognition she deserves.
PS. Go upstairs to the rooftop for great views and stealth photos!
