“Really Enjoyed staying here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We stayed here over New years Eve....They picked us up at the airport/ helped us in every way. Had a great room with a view of Cusco. Really made our trip to south america start out fabulously. Unfortunately we stayed at #1 tripadvisor hotel on our way back from Maichu Picchu
and not here. This hotel is much more centrally located in a hip part of town. You do have to walk up a hill to get here, but it is really no problem and I am 60 years old. Loved it.

“Cute hotel, comfortable beds, yummy breakfast, good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

We stayed at this hotel for a total of 6 nights and would definitely stay there again if we went back to Cusco. The rooms have comfortable beds which is very important to us, along with wifi, flat screen tv's and excellent views of Cusco. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They did everything from sending a driver to pick us up at the airport, to organizing a private guide for a city tour. We felt very secure there and even left luggage at the hotel while we went to hike the Inca trail. It's a short 10 minute walk into the heart of Cusco, which we didn't mind and even walked it at night. The hotel restaurant was delicious too. We spent a total of 3 weeks in South America and this hotel had the best breakfast by far. We even had dinner there a couple of times, all meals made home-made & delicious. The only thing I would say is that it can be a bit loud at night if you are a light sleeper. The hotel has wood floors and a spiral staircase that leads up to the rooms, you can hear hotel guests coming and going. That being said, my guess is that this is pretty common for many or all hotels in the area and we would still choose to stay there again.

“excellent views, good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2011

we had a room over looking cusco with fantastic views. less than a 10 minute walk to central cusco and we always took a taxi back at night (only 5 sol) as some of the streets are very quiet. the hotel was very clean and safe and the staff were excellent.

only 4 stars instead of 5 as the food wasn't great.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view (as the view of really fantastic)

“Great value, friendly staff, amazing view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

We stayed here in September 2011 as a couple and had a GREAT experience. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. As soon as we arrived, they offered us hot coca tea as we checked in. Our room was very clean and tidy. We even had a small flat screen tv to watch on a rainy day and free wi-fi. We headed up to the balcony on the 4th floor and had an amazing view of Cusco! I think the kitchen chef cooked constantly, but she was very quiet in the evenings as she prepped for the next day. The breakfast was VERY good with many options to choose from and we also enjoyed the happy hour in the lobby one night.
This hotel is up in the San Blas area. It was a little difficult to find, our taxi driver did not know where exactly it was and we got dumped off in the Tanda Pata square. I did see taxis go up the road to the hotel, but there were very few and I think they were ones that had been arranged through the hotel staff. It would be worth calling to get some directions before you go.
This was a great spot to head toward Machu Picchu from as a taxi came and picked us up early in the morning to take us to the train station. The Plaza de Armas was within walking distance and there were so many shops and restaurants along the way, we walked everywhere! I would highly recommend to travelers without families. I think that sound carries quite easily and that a family with children might be heard by many guests. In addition, with all the walking, it may be hard for children to make the trek. All in all, a fabulous stay!

Room Tip: The 4th (top) floor was beautiful if you don't mind the hike!

The hotel was quaint was a great entrance, terrace and gardens. Our room afforded a wonderful view of the city. The staff was amazing! The food was good. You can't go wrong with this motel. Did I mention we had a massage here as well? Try the Inka massage with hot stones. Totally relaxing.
