The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are nice as well, they are of decent size, bed is nice as well, pillows could be better, bathrooms are of decent size and everything was clean. Breakfast is ok, could be a little better if they offered a little more variety. Eggs were great! The service is good, the hotel isnt expensive. The only thing I would change is the location, it is like 800 meters if not more from the main plaza to the hotel, The first few hundred meters seem safe to walk around but the last several hundred go through some dark streets and alleyways. Though I had absolutely no trouble at all, I did feel al ittle unsure with the alleyways (around 9 pm there are very few people out on the streets in that area). Really dont have anything bad to say about the hotel.

Stayed here with a small group. Was disappointed with my single room - very small, and located next to some sort of utility room, which was quite noisy with staff going in and out. Appreciated the free internet. Location not very central, but Arequipa is easy to walk around in, so restaurants and museums are all accessible.

This hotel had a good location.
The rooms were basic but clean, pleasant and not too old. Though the doors didn't lock very well.
It seems they tried to make the foyer area classy but it looks a little old fashioned.
The brekfast was a little bit more varied than usual in Peru (bread with jam), which was a good surprise.

This hotel is on the outskirts of the central part of town and there are lots of options closer to the Plaza de Armas, so look around.
The staff here is friendly and helpful, which helps make up for the standard of the rooms, which is pretty basic and the bathrooms are really tiny. Free internet, no in room safe, food is ok. They were more than happy to store luggage for a couple of days if you are heading out to the canyon. One thing that annoyed me was the addition of some sort of tax or service charge to the bill when we checked out which had not been disclosed at the time of booking.
