Lovely location opposite the convent and in the middle of everything and very pretty ground floor and garden. Good breakfast.
However a hotel has to be all about a good nights sleep and a very lound nightclub nearby means if your room faces the back you wont get any sleep until 5am (we even tried earplugs).
Shame and not the hotels fault.
It is a little noisy anyway as hard floors mean you hear all the footsteps on your floor and above and below.

Stayed here for my final four days in Peru and liked it.
I found it to be a great location right across from the Santa Catalina Monastery and a quick walk down to the main square of Arequipa (Plaza de Armes)
The price was a good value and the room , though not large,was clean and comfortable.
My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast/lounge area which had the original Spanish arches and colonial architecture with some attractive old paintings.
The breakfast was your standard "ham and cheese" buffet with breads and juices all perfectly fine and adequate.
I'd stay here again, it had much good about it to recoomend.

The hotel is located right in the center of the city, in front of the Santa Catalina Monastery - for me the greater place to visit in the city. There are also great restaurants nearby, and you can go everywhere by foot.
Breakfast is very good, rooms are clean and the rates are fair.
The only problem is that the hotel is very noisy. Maybe walls are too thin, cause you can hear people walking through the corridors, people coming in and out of the rooms, people talking outside tour door...
Nevertheless, I'd definitly stay turre again, if I went back to Arequipa!

This place looks nice, is well situated, has a decent breakfast, good showers, comfortable beds, an elevator, wi-fi and yet half of its rooms face a nightclub a few blocks away that starts thumping around 10 pm and doesn't stop until 4, 5, or 6am depending on the night.

We started there on a Thursday and the first night there was noise, but it was easily combatted by earplugs. Friday was a little louder, but earplugs still enabled sleep. Saturday night was horrible: throbbing bass and percussion until 6am and the earplugs didn't help at all.

The hotel doesn't mention this club, provide earplugs, or seem to care much about your sleep.

If getting a room, mention that you want one that doesn't face the nightclub. It's on a 3rd or 4th story (so it sends sound into the whole damn neighborhood). It doesn't stand out during the day, but come night time, you'll know very well where it's at.
