“Great location and friendly staff”

This hostel is in a great location in Quito new town right by Plaza Foch. Our private room was light and spacious, only problem was a lack of hot water from the shower. The included breakfast is fantastic-fruit and yoghurt, bread, eggs, juice and coffee or tea. The owners are very nice but don't speak much English but we speak very little Spanish and got by fine. Wifi is good and computers for people to use also. I would recommend this hostel if you are looking for a quiet homely stay in Quito.

The elderly couple who run the place are very friendly and helpful. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the free breakfast is very good, the bathrooms are clean, and it's close to a lot of bars and restaurants on and surrounding Amazonias Avenue. My only complaint is that there aren't any lockers, but that is minor. All in all, this place represents a great value.

This is an OK hostel, but the man (husband) should stay away from guest service... Breakfast was good, rooms were not...
