Booked this hotel based on my previous experiences in staying in some Holiday Inn Express hotels in UK and China, I always love their comfortable beds. But in this hotels, it was even better. The twin beds that I booked was considerably large to accomodate 2 adults (I am average Asian size). The room was spacious and luxuriously decorated. It was worth the money (considering that accomodation in Singapore is generally expensive). Check-in and check-out was easy and fast. They even granted my request to have late check-out until 4 pm. Breakfast came with various food and taste delicious. This is the first hotel in Singapore that I stayed in that provides "non-halal" sign for the dishes that they served for breakfast. They even provide "qiblat" direction sign in the room for moslems. Very helpful for me to do my prayers. Short walking distance from Orchard road and Somerset MRT Station and about 15 minutes walk to Dhoby Ghout Interchange MRT Station. Will be back someday. Keep up the good work, staffs!

Great hotel, great location. Upgraded to make use of executive lounge with wine, nibbles, afternoon tea etc. Concierge and all staff very helpful. Kids made good use of swimming pool. Would definitely stay there next time we visit Singapore.

If you are reading this and you've already booked the H'Inn Orchard, don’t worry, it is as all hotels in this class should be, clean, comfortable, well-appointed and we found the friendly staff excellent, especially in the Garden View restaurant. The hotel is right next to a 6 lane highway, which does spoil the 'garden view' a bit, but noise was not a problem for us. The pool is enclosed by high walls with not much plant cover, and the steps out of the pool are dangerous. If you have kids, this is not a resort hotel, and there will not be much to do locally unless they enjoy shopping. Orchard Road is the main attraction for this hotel. The shop house restaurants on Cuppage, right outside the hotel back door mean you don’t even have to walk the 2 minutes to Orchard Road itself without being spoiled for great food choice of everything you can think of. An Irish style pub there too. Breakfast in the hotel is excellent with typical buffet, very generous and well served, so much so we found queues outside the restaurant each morning, but since the previously mentioned staff could clear, clean and reset a table in less than 1 minute, not so much of a problem. My wife and I visited on a short break from elsewhere in Asia and I know perhaps because it was Chinese New Year our experience may not have been typical. Nevertheless, gets a 4 from us, only spoiled by the pool walls and steps.

We stayed here twice, both for 1 day only, in transit to another country. During our first night, we availed of the Executive Room rate which allowed access to the Executive Lounge where staff were very friendly and helpful. Snacks provided were a bit tasteless but drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were heaven-sent in hot and humid Singapore. We had breakfast at their Windows restaurant and the choices were plentiful and the quality of food was quite good.
They were very protective about the use of their tiny Business Center and access is not free unless you are printing your boarding passes. Orchard Road shops are just a block away.

On our second stay, also for just one night, we booked a regular room with no frills. And it was just that, no frills even for Priority Club members. No free room internet access, no free drinks, no free newspaper. It was a good thing that I already checked-in for the early flight the following morning because I had a feeling that I would be denied access to their Business Center. With or without the frills, this hotel is a bit expensive, but hey, hotel rates in Singapore have increased especially those around Orchard Road. They sent me an online survey which asked me how this hotel compares with Marriott which was difficult to answer because each hotel is different even though they belong to the same chain. So if you are after Orchard Road shopping, this hotel is okay. If the Executive Room rates are nearly the same as the regular room rates, go for the Executive Room.
