Was upgraded to a suite room, suite rooms are spacious, breakfast and wifi are included. Excellent service, clean rooms, convenient location to shops at Orchard.

The pool is very nice as well as the breakfast. I always get upgraded to the renewal suites so I dont know about the other rooms but the suites are very very nice. 

This is your typical overseas Grand Hyatt. Top shelf amenities and location in the heart of Orchard Area.

Pros:
-Fabulous breakfast included in rate
-Club lounge was very comfortable with great service, although food options were below average
-Great room on 14th floor with great beds/bathroom...colleagues on other floors reported same
-Very good fitness/spa area, but if they could better chill the water, and also offer chilled hand towels, it would be on par with other Grand Hyatt's
-Good pool area with adjacent restaurant
-Great Orchard area location with v close access to the MRT.


Cons:
-Prices for food were on par with other high-end Singapore locations, which means extremely high priced. Drinks in hotel bar were 15-25 local dollars (US$12-20)
-Club Brix is mostly prostitutes, with little to no hotel concern with its patrons having "guests for the night." Drinks are very expensive, but the bar itself is actually really nice. The one night we met non-prostitutes there was the highlight of our week....Go Lufthansa!
-Very slow room service, even when just requesting ice
-Very slow elevators, causing waits longer than other hotels

Overall, the hotel and its staff met every standard of excellence I would expect from a high-end Hyatt property. The issues above notwithstanding, I would stay there again if I were to visit Singapore again.

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Singapore recently whilst in town to celebrate the Lunar New Year with family. The service was top notch from start to finish. We stay at quite a few Hotels and the the arrival experience was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and stark and contemporary (a style I like very much). The rain shower in the bathroom was a treat. I like that more and more hotels have this put in. We dined at Straits Kitchen, Mezza9 went to the bar and would highly recommend Mezza9; the food and service in my books scored 100 out of 100. Really very very good, try the steamed fish, green veggies in oyster sauce and chicken fried rice for sure, very YUMMY!

Compliments to the staff at the Grand Club, The front desk, concierge and the pool side, all were excellent!

We will choose the Hotel again, for our next trip there!
