This is a 1 star hotel in prime location charging above value charges.
Should have got the hint when taxi driver when he said it was a very.. Old hotel.

The 1st room we paid for was a premium room.Walked in and instantly smelt as someone had been cooking food,bath tub rusted and dirty with mould on ceilings.

A complaint to front desk got us moved to the 8th Superior room.Guess what? Same style and quality room as 1st room. Issues were rusted bath,mould on ceilings,fixtures 15 yrs plus old,carpet dirty so could not take off shoes.Plus beds were so hard that you felt as you were sleeping on a plank of wood.

On travel companions stayed in a room similar but experienced a night with little sleep as air conditioning was full blast as thermastat was broken with card board over half of vent.

Paid for a breakfast which was held in some third world dinning room with plastic cups,plastic covers on round clustered tables in smelly room.Only eat there once in our two night stay as didnt want to get food poisoning from lack of cleanliness.

If you leave your luggage expect it to sit in the foyer tied together by string.

Location is good as great foot massage facilities across the road.At the top of Orchid plaza across the road, great restauants around 8th floor.

Word of advise,find another hotel in Singapore to stay at.

cheapest hotel on Orchard Road, great location but for that money, it isn't worth it..
if you are looking for something cheap, try hotels a bit further out, S'pore is a small place and getting around in town is easy

This is the cheapest hotel we can find in Orchard Road. Stayed here for 1 night only. Checked-in at 10am and we left our luggages in the room which are to be cleaned up later. The room was big, bed was comfy, but the toilet & bathtub looked a bit uncleaned with old stains. Shower water was very small, which is a bit annoying. The bathtub is using the traditional knob to adjust the water hot/cold. Location was superb, once out from the hotel you can see all the big malls from street-to-street, which you can shop like crazy. As this hotel is located near to the far end of orchard road, the walk to the central shopping areas like paragon, takashimaya, ion orchard,etc took around 10mins walk. If you are plan to visit other parts of singapore like clarke quay, bugis, expo, etc. You can walk to the Summerset MRT (5mins walk) which is located inside the 313@ summerset mall. Superly convenient to tour around Singapore. Will definitely choose this hotel in my next shopping trip.

i think i would just point out the main things that i really want to say and make it short:
1. check in was smooth, the FO assistant has a lovely face but unfortunately she acted badly( lay her head on her hand while i was fill up the confirmation form), her skirt was too short.
2. poor room condition. air con couldn't be set, a lot of rubbish under the bed, there is a hole to next room near the side table (which is terrible)
3. the only compliment for this hotel : a friendly bellman.
