Stayed at Albert Court Village Hotel for one night last Christmas, and was surprised that the price was not exorbitant despite it being the holiday season.
Hotel does have the vintage feel, but as one inspects carefully, one would start to wonder if it's just the decoration that gives off the vintage feel, or that the hotel is really looking tired and old.
Room was okay. We asked for a king-sized bed, and the reception had reassured us that it was a king sized bed, but upon reaching the room, we realised that it was just two single beds placed together side by side. Since we were there only for a night, we decided not to make a hoo-haa about it.
Bathtub looked like it hadn't been scrubbed since the last few occupants, so we just used the shower instead. TV cable was actually disconnected, and my boyfriend had to connect the cable by himself, but the signal was still very bad. Local channels were barely watchable.
Aircon was freezing cold, despite us turning up the temperature dial to almost 27 degrees. The shivering I got when I stepped out of the shower actually reminded me of the times when I stepped out of shower in Finland during winter - and that was when the heater wasn't working that well.
The only saving grace was the breakfast buffet. There wasn't a great variety of food available, but almost everything was good. Kudos to the chef. The servers were attentive too, clearing plates in a jiffy.

With regards to your feedback on the TV and the aircon, our technicians have worked on them and rectified the defects in this particular room that you stayed in. We are sorry to have dampened your festive mood and remind you of winters in Finland. We certainly can do better than this to ensure all our guests have a much better stay experience with us.
However, we are glad that you have found our revamped breakfast offering good as we have recently reviewed and changed the menu and presentation. We will continously be doing this to improve our breakfast.
