Thay have a room to relax in if you arive before check in. With a shower tv coffee it's perfect.

We stayed here for 4 nights in August 2011 and I really enjoyed it. After reading reviews I was expecting pretty worn room but it was nice just like in the pictures in hotel website. It was very clean and there was the best bed I ever slept in! One of the reasons I booked this hotel instead some newer ones at the Clarke Quay was the size of the rooms as they are spacious and have balcony. Lobby is not as comfortable as in many good hotels but it was functional and never too crowded.

Hotel was full and everything was working smoothly. The service and staff were great, maybe the consierge was their weakest link. The location is good next to Raffles Hotel, Robinson's Mall, Funan Digitalife mall, the City Hall MRT station and hop-on –hop-off bus-stops. However there are many good locations in Singapore and since we used taxi a lot we could have enjoyed other locations as well. Taxis were easy and cheap and there were always taxis waiting. I would stay here again because of the bed, atmosphere and service.

Spent three nights at the hotel. Arriving very early (having to get off a cruise ship after an early breakfast) we were told our room wasn't ready, but for an extra $30 we could have an upgrade. We jumped at the offer and were very please we did. The room had a magnificent view to the casino and the harbour. It is well located with the shopping mall and station underground, and easy access to most points of interest. The room, including the modern and well appointed bathroom were appreciated; the beds were comfortable and the nespresso machine keenly used (housekeeping staff were happy to provide the extra coffee modules). It is a really good hotel; the reception staff are helpful, and we would be happy to stay here on any visit to Singapore.

We booked into the Fairmont in Singapore for 2 nights prior to departing onto a cruise with Royal Caribbean.

Have to say this hotel is one of the best we have stayed in, from being greeted at the front entrance to our departure the service could not be faulted. Fantastic rooms we allocated, and even a birthday cake was left out on the first evening as we had mentioned that we were in Singapore for a birthday celebration. Beds were turned down both nights, and oh, the beds were so comfortable.

Only draw back was that we did not opt for a bed and breakfast rate, which in future we would do, however, there is a huge shopping mall located underneath the hotel with plenty of places to eat.

Perfectly located for all the main attractions and just across the road from Raffles for when you visit the Long Bar for your Singapore Sling.

Could not fault this hotel, we joined the Fairmont membership club prior to leaving which we would recommend you do. Will certainly look for a Fairmont brand in the future when travelling. Excellent stay.
