Stayed at the Furama Riverfront for 2 nights for a Business meeting. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Several shops are also located in the hotel if you need to pick up something.

Room was smaller than I was expecting for the room rate although it was clean and well maintained. The furniture didn't fit very well in the small room causing some mobility problems getting up in the night.

The room had a very large flat screen TV but limited channels to view, water pot and instant coffee and tea, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, hotel safe in the closet, and the usual tooth brush, shampoo etc in the bath. Alas, had towels but no wash cloths. Good thing I brought one. Also has a locked minibar which I did not have opened.

The WIFI was free but seems to be very slow and the internet worked best using the Broadband cable provided. The desk said the WIFI was free until Feb 6th, so if you check in after that date, may have to pay.

I didn't see the river, so don't expect the hotel to be on the "Riverfront".

They have a nice buffet breakfast but it seems to be the same every day. So, what you had yesterday, expect the same today.

To me, the hotel is a low 4 star hotel. Not a bad place to stay, but when I go back to Singapore, will prefer to try some place different.

ps. Drinks in the bar are expensive, At least I thought 16 Singapore dollars for a local beer was expensive - but maybe I don't drink much at hotel bars.

I booked 2 night Excutive room and got free upgrade to Suite Room. As Singaporean, i felt great treated like VIP with my two day stay for holiday. Free compliment 6-8pm free flow cocktails and beer provide at Executive lounge. Room is average but location is prefect. The service is excellent compare to other in Singapore.

We booked a room for four people ie a family room with Mum, Dad, two boys aged 14 and 11 years. Normally this hotel doesn't do family rooms however we organised through Singapore airlines that they would put an extra bed in a triple room so we could all be together. We have done this all over Europe, has never been a problem. So we turn up very jetlagged, for us it is the middle of the night but Singapore time it is 7am. They say no sorry we only have three single beds in the room. We never put an extra bed, this is our hotel and this never happens. They didn't care that we booked for four people and their explanation was that the boys would be sharing a single bed. This was the most bizarre excuse imaginable. Anyway we were exhausted but rang Singapore airlines who spent the day trying to convince the hotel to put another bed in the room and by evening they found someone sypathetic who said yes ok. Up until that point they would not budge. I found the reception staff deceitful, they kept changing their story and their attitude to customer service was appalling. Never stay here. Singapore airlines stopover staff however were very helpful.

Stayed for 2 nights. The superior rooms was just average. Breakfast at the hotel really needs to improve in taste and variation. Hotel staff were polite. But the fact that wifi was only restricted to the lobby area for 30mins was frustrating. There was LAN cable for free internet in the individual rooms but really, even backpacker hotels provide free wifi without limited time frame.
