This very friendly and comfortable resort is located at the far end of Big Laguna Beach .... which is not very big ... we stayed at La Laguna first for a few nights and we had a beachfront room ... this meant no privacy as the incessant and persistent hawkers and pedlars were sitting on our porch waiting for us to emerge in the morning ... we had to keep the curtain drawn so had no view ... the back wall was shared with the compressor room for the dive shop ... enough said .... the management were only interested in helping when they new we went to check other accommodations the restaurant was good and comfortable but not that cheap and the dive shop was very good ..... we moved to Campbells and ahhh the tranquility ... no passing pedestrian traffic, and an invite only admission for hawkers and pedlars .... that alone was bliss. The Scandanavian Dive Centre which is part of the resort was excellent, the food was excellent and more reasonably priced than the other place and the service was great and always done with a smile. We had a room with a large shared covered terrace on the second floor (3 floors), which was adequately comfortable and roomy but not luxury, we would have gone for the bigger slightly dearer rooms on the top floor but no roof over the terrace so no shade or rain protection .... I will definitely go back to Campbells and I note there were a few long term guests, couples staying 3 months (return customers) ... Campbells will do a good price for longer stays ... thank you Campbells, my girl friend and I loved staying with you. .... Tosh from Australia
