Stayed at out o f the blue jan 2011. Was so impressed stay once again jan 2012. As per last year wonderful accomadation. Great to meet dani the new manager.dani & her hubby jack could not make us more than welcome. Staff as always brilliant food awesome not to mention the wine. Have Booked again next jan. ahh after talking to many fellow divers. Out of the blue is the only place to stay. I have stayed here on both visits and have dived with action divers and will be back next year.

We spent three nights here, staying in Villa 6, which the hotel calls a standard, but which in reality is more than enough for two people.

The resort is located between a reasonable beach at Big La Laguna and an awful place called Sabang, so we mostly turned left when we left the resort in the morning. The resort has two swimming pools, but only the smaller one was fully available as workmen were constructing something next to the bigger one at the bottom.

The staff provide a very welcoming atmosphere and were always very friendly and smiling. They were always efficient. Ms Jea greets you by name when she sees you!

The room we had was huge for 2 people. It was on two floors with a lovely sitting area on the entrance floor (the higher floor) and another sitting area on the floor below. The whole place was absolutely spotless. The views from the two balconies were marvelous. The bathroom and bedroom, beyond the kitchen area were very spacious, although a bit dungeon like and a tad musty. The bed was very comfortable. There was also a long corridor curiously leading to nowhere. Everything you need was provided - plenty of toiletries, bottled water and kitchen appliances if needed. The one thing we didn't like was the quality of the television. There were two televisions and the large flatscreen with the cable channels had awful reception with a fuzzy picture, making watching a soccer game painful, while the other mini tv with better reception, had just a few channels. There was a dvd player too, but for some reason dvd's couldn't be played but vcd's (remember them?) could.

The food quality was excellent and we had some fine meals in the restaurant. Breakfasts were ample and tasty and dinner was cooked and served to perfection. The dinner menu is surprisingly large and varied, given the small number of guests at the resort.

Small Lalaguna is not really a place for swimming, but head off to Big Lalaguna for a reasonable beach or better, take a boat to White beach, which is really beautiful. We thought Sabang town was awful with very high levels of prostitution. We found it very sad to see young girls who had obviously been plucked from their villages, lured to this place to be used and infected with std's by old men who were clearly in Sabang for just one thing.

If this place was on White Beach we'd be booking our next trip already, but being in Sabang...

We recently spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel and were delighted with every aspect. The hotel is tastefully decorated, the staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We encountered some difficulty with our room and the staff were very responsive and made certain that we were happy with our accomodation. We really could not have been more satisfied.
The new pool is very nice and will only add value to an already lovely hotel. We highly recommend staying at Out of The Blue Villas and Resort.

Wow Wow Wow.... Made a last minute chage to our accommodation and so glad we did. This place is amazing and so close to the dive resort we utilised for our stay. So simple to cruise down the stairs, don your dive gear and be in the water a few minutes later. We stayed in Villa 10 which felt like being on top of the world (well on top of Puerto Galera at least) and it was so nice to watch this sleepy little bay come to life each morning from the elevated position. I would have to say after walking through a lot of the other resorts that this is by far the most modern and cleanest accommodation in eitehr Small or Big La Laguna. Can't wait to go back... and as for the stairs, unless you have a physical condition they are absolutely no problem at all and merely act as incentive to eat a bigger breakfast everyday... from the Blue Moon Cafe of course.
