it is an amazing stay , however , the price comparing to the same stars hotel is too expensive , now the price even increased more by almost 90% only in this stay . it will cost you 700 USD for the 3 bedroom . i staied there on Apr 11 , and i paied only 430 USD per night .

It's been about 3 years since I stayed at this hotel. I would have liked to give this hotel a 4.5 if could. Overall it is a great business hotel. Hardware-wise, the hotel gets a 5 (nice rooms, shared spaces) but service is better at other hotels in town.

Pros:
- Really nice, large sprawling rooms
- 2 sinks in the bathroom
- Separate bathtub and shower
- Location. Connected to the Pacific Place shopping mall.

Cons:
- Service could be more attentive. Check-in took a long time and it almost feels like the staff lacks common sense. I had booked a car for meetings and told receptionist specifically that I did not want to pay cash for the car and that I wanted it charged to the room. Sure enough, the next morning, I was informed by my driver that the car was only booked for 3 hours on my room and that I had to pay the remainder in cash. This despite my specific request and the fact that the hotel had my flight details and meeting schedule (which were clearly more than 3 hours long).
- The pay TV provider they use is awful. Really bad picture quality - I could barely watch most of the channels with all the static fuzz.
- They gym could have more equipment and accessories.
- In my room, there was no plug immediately next to the desk.

Tips:
- Try and book a club room. Separate check-in / check-out counter and lounge area where you can eat snacks in the evening and breakfast. There are also nice conference rooms for your use on the club rooms as well.

Unhelpful, indifferent staff. Non-functioning AC. Non-functioning Internet. Extremely long checkin process. Cigarette smoker in lounge and staff would have done nothing if I hadn't complained (supposed to be a non-smoking hotel). Poor quality food. Very high price for Jakarta. Unlikely to stay here again. Extremely surprised given outward appearances. In my experience, there are other cheaper and better business hotels in Jakarta.

Jakarta has 2 Ritz-Carltons, this one is the newer one, not the one that was sadly bombed by the terrorist. The hotel shares the same building with Pacific Place Mall. Thus, it's very convenient to go around after-hours or to find a place for dinner, as Pacific Place Mall provides quite good selection of restaurants (Chinese food, Korean, Italian, French and Indonesian food). This hotel also shares the same building with One Pacific Place office complex and just across the street from Jakarta Stock Exchange building. The location makes it really suitable for business traveler.
The room size is huge, the largest i have seen in Jakarta. I like this hotel because it does not have too many rooms so it's not too crowded. You can also enjoy the lounge facilities for free.
