stayed here for 1 week in October. Well located. Excellent staff and service (particularly in the restaurant), nice well appointed rooms with plenty of space. Highly recommended

The Ritz Carlton Pacific Place is a great property. Excellent service, very large rooms (some of the largest that I have ever seen), well equipped gym and full access to a very nice lounge where one can have 5 meals per day - what makes it unnecessary to go to any other restaurant, which is very convenient in Jakarta's traffic. In addition, it is right next to the Pacific Place Mall, which is quite pricey, but has several restaurants as well. This is the place to stay in Jakarta if your office is at the Stock Exchange building.

im staying this hotel for two weeks, accompanying my husband on his bussines trip. Ever tried some five stars hotels in jakarta, i could say that this is my favorite so far. The hotel lobby is not so crowded as the hotel lobby located on the high floor..
1. The Room: we tried two types of different rooms the club and the corner, both rooms are great, comfortable, and the bathroom equipped with the BVLGARI bathing amenities. the pillow is a bit high on my standard, the room service try to find another pillow, but still its a bit to high.
tips: make sure u had a room with city view, not the one facing the apartment, because not much to see there.
2. the security: the security is tight like any other five stars hotel in jakarta. u'll have to passed two security check when u're coming back from the mall.
3. the facilities: this hotel is connected to pacific place mall, one of the high-end mall in jakarta, it got everything u need from supermarket, bakery, and lots of branded stores.
theres no kids pool on this hotel, but they can provide swimming equipment for kids. this hotel also have open air cinema program every friday which is very interesting.
They also allowed guest to use the meeting room for free for some limited time. the gym and the facilities are also great.
tips: try 'sop buntut borobudur restaurant' on the mall, they served a very good oxtail soups menu.
4. the food: all day buffet are available for free for the hotel guest. some cakes and foods are delicious. we also tried some of the room service menu, all of them were good.
5. the staff: all are very friendly and helpfull.

overall experience was great, maybe a bit pricy for vacation and not really have a 'fun' atmosphere for family trip with kids .. but as a bussines hotel, ritz calrton could serve you very well..

Large club rooms with double basin bathroom, comfortable bedding in an old fashioned ambiete which is not up-to-date and below Ritz Carlton Standard. Service is good and personalized, overall very attentive. The all day buffet features a good variety of snacks and drinks. Overall expensive for 298$++ per night, a good value for money would be at 200$++. Therefore not recommended for the current rate.
