Stayed at this hotel for 1 week for buisness trip during the Rubgy Sevens weekend. Did not realised that there was a whole row of pubs downstairs and it was really rowdy & noisy even till very late at night. Even after the weekend, its still very noisy. Definitely not a wise choice if you need good & quiet rests. They first gave me a room, but there was NO wired internet in the room (not ignoring the fact that internet is very expensive). I was asked to rent a dongle but unfortunately, I was not able to install any software in my company's laptop, I had to change room AFTER I had unpacked & ironed my clothes. Bummer! Even after I had the wired internet, I could not log on to the internet in my room, which I do not understand why because I can log on wireless in the business centre on level 2. Their so-called technicians came but could do nothing as well. Really very inconvinent for business travellers. Ended up I decided to wake up early and go into the office at 630am in order to be able to work. Bathroom had seen better days and could do with more touch ups. TV channels were not too bad a range. Never tried the breakfast there. Also, the service to help get cabs must be improved if it had not been. Hotel guests had to figure out where to stand to get cabs & no one was on the streets to help hail the cabs over. The street right in front of the hotel is kind of deserted and few cabs passed by and to make things worse, the "cab queue" is hidden behind a wall. Thankfully, cabs are usually aplenty so I usually walk down the main street instead to hail for one. Location wise, it is actually more of a good 10min walk from the MTR at a comfortable pace, instead of the 5min stated in the website (which will be kind of a brisk walk involved). There are other hotels with nearer distance from the MTR and they claim a more modest timing. I would try other hotels if I am holidaying in Hong Kong.
