I did the pay pay per use lounge at HGK recently for me and SwMBO. Found the the lounge very good for the price. Shower and breakfast, was good.
Having said that when we arrived at the hotel we recieved early checkin which was well receieved.

Good stuff ___My wife and I stayed in a Club Floor Harbor View Room. What can I say, the view goes without saying. We have all seen the images in this website no-doubt . We arrived at 8.00 am on a flight from Australia, not expecting check in, only to store the bags for the day until 2.00 pm in the foyer. Upon seeing the computer screen the check-in chap ushered us up to the girls at the club floor lounge checking-in, an early in check-in. We found the hotel 5 star as expected and as re-searched for such a hotel in Hong Kong.
The club floor was well worth the extra dollars. The service in the club lounge was exceptional. The desk staff are very professional and the wait staff also, without being over the top.The restaurants within the hotel are not cheap, but the service was very good. The best restaurant in the hotel, the Harbour Grill was truly five star. Service was exceptional (wow, cannot describe the service in a few words on this page) food just great. An experience very long remembered for many years. Hotel is an easy five minute walk to the ferry or bus terminal. The hotel bus is good but usually very full, having said that a taxi is AU$5-7 to Tsim Sha Tsui. The local area is great, with super cheap restaurants with very safe food within 5 -10 minutes walk at AU$5-10 for dinner. Overall I rate this hotel very high. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world, and have never been in a hotel that encompasses such great stay
Not so Good ___ The ground floor reception staff can be at times very average

Thank you for your wonderful view and yes, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay with us.
