“I was impressed with hotel.”

Located inside he campus of the Geosciences University in Beijing has pros and cons.
Clearly the campus offers a nice environment and the hotel was very quiet.
There is little to do within the campus so most shopping and food are a 10 minute walk to outside the gates. We had trouble to get taxi's to find the hotel and also it was complicated to get taxi to come to the hotel for pick up- easier to walk to the gate.
Check in was disappointment as all three front desk staff seemed busy with personal calls and they could not decide who would hang up to check us in.
The remainder of the stay was better. Hotel opened 1 year ago.
Nice room. Modern bath. I loved that the window opened for fresh air. Water pressure was amazing in shower!
We used the business center and travel agent ticket office and were very happy.
Internet was included which is important to me.
Overall the location proved to be positive (except for taxi).
I would recommend this hotel.

Varying quality of rooms but clean, wide variety of food available for breakfast. I would particularly recommend the banana cake and the omelettes made fresh by a special omelette chef in the mornings. Location is not great but is 10 mins walk from a tube stop and a shopping centre. Limited natural light in rooms
