“A quiet oasis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

We stayed at the Concorde El Salam Hotel for one night and we were delighted with our stay. We were met as soon as we entered the arrivals hall at the airport and whisked through customs and immigration to the hotel shuttle bus. The location of the hotel was a pleasant surprise, it was an oasis of calm in the middle of the busy city. The grounds are attractive and quiet and close to a huge stable full of beautiful horses. The reception staff couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming and our room on the executive floor was very comfortable indeed. We were extremely well looked after in the lounge when we went for a drink in the evening, nothing was too much trouble for the nice young waiter. The hotel has a good range of restaurants and cafes, a gym, attractive pool area, shops, a bank, horse riding and there is even a cinema in the grounds. We were very impressed and would certainly stay again if we have another trip to Cairo.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

Ii 's one of the Best hotel I've been in the world, the food is perfect with 4 restaurant, not so cheap but good, the Gym also is availlable , sauna, and spa. There are sjop inside where you can bargain as ever ( you're in Egypt don't buy at first price !!! )......The only pity is about smoke, unfortunately in Egypt smoking is still not forbnidden and in restaurant specially , you miss your conutry.

“My Home :)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

The hotel is located in the heart of eventful Heliopolis, where you can eat, shop, hang around and perform a lot of actions, the hotel style is amazing, breakfast is lovely, good for dinner as well, the music is playing all day long, after 8, a professional piano player makes it perfect, rooms are clean, TV is great, contains many different channels, and uses TV IP technology, bathrooms are very clean and organized, beds are excellent, and the stay is extremely great, far from Cairo Down Town, very close to Airport, not so far from City Stars Center, and close to many shopping areas, excellent for business stays.

“Nice hotel in Heliopolis”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasional and nothing much has changed in the last three years. The hotel is reasonably near the airport and runs a shuttle bus.

On arrival I was upgraded for few dollars to the executive package floor, which included two vouchers for pressing my clothes and access to the executive lounge. The lounge was rather small and little hot but provided free alcoholic drinks between 7-9, free soft drinks at other times always seemed to have some food available.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was fine and the selection wide. My only complaint would be that the rooms do look a little tired, but this is a minor gripe. I would recommend asking for a non-pool facing room owing to the number of weddings that go in the pool area and the associated noise.
